Ordering and Shipping
PLEASE NOTE THAT AS OF NOVEMBER 24TH 2016, ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
We are closing our doors for good. We guarantee that all our products are in perfect condition. Please feel confident that in case your product has any imperfections we will refund it, or we will exchange your product if we have inventory. However, please consider that we can't accept any refunds after November 24th 2016.
Where is my order?
You can track your order at https://tools.usps.com/go/TrackConfirmAction!input.action with the tracking number we sent you on the “Your order has shipped” email.
How long does it take for my order to ship once it is placed?
Your order will ship within 24 hours of your purchase and we will send you an email letting you know it is on its way with your package’s tracking number.
What forms of Payment does Nomadista.co accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and Paypal. Please note we only accept one form of payment per order.
What happens when I receive an error message on the checkout process?
You can get an error message on the checkout process when your billing information is different from the information your bank has on file for you. How do I know my order was successfully placed?
You will know your order was successfully placed when you are directed to an order confirmation page with an order number. Does Nomadista.co deliver to PO Boxes and Military APO/FPO addresses?
Yes, we use USPS which delivers to both PO Boxes and Military APO/FPO addresses.
Does Nomadista.co ship internationally?
Yes, we do!
How much does shipping cost?
We offer a flat-rate shipping + handling of $9.99 on any order within the United States and offer expedited 2-day delivery for a flat rate of $20.
If you need your order sooner, please email us at email@example.com and we will work to get your items to you on time. In this case, the price will be calculated based on weight, shipping location and other USPS charges.
Returns and exchanges
How do I return an order?
Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will send you a pre-paid packaging label via email. Please make sure you ask for a return packaging label within 30 days of your purchase and that your products are unworn, unwashed and undamaged and include all original packaging and tags.
How long does it take for me to get a refund on my returned order?
Once we receive your return, please allow up to 7 days for us to process your request. We will send you a confirmation email letting you know your return has been processed. Then, depending on your bank, the refund may take an additional 5 to 7 business days to show up on your account.
Do you offer exchanges?
Yes, please refer to our Shipping and returns policy. Please note that due to the constant change in inventory and the sometimes limited quantities and unique items we carry, some products and sizes might no longer be available. Nevertheless, get in touch and we will do our best to get it for you!
If I return an item, does this mean that you no longer donate a day of school?
Nomadista.co accepts returns within 30 days of purchase and we calculate the days of school based on fulfilled orders only.
How does the donation of the day of school actually work?
For every $100 we receive in revenue, we set aside the cost of a full day of school at Foundation Hogar Integral, our partner in the field. Nomadista then transfers the funds to Conexion Colombia who makes sure Fundacion Hogar Integral receives the money and uses it accordingly. The little ones with few possibilities are given days of life changing opportunities. Then through constant reviews and assessment done through field visits, donation reports and interviews with the children’s parents, we evaluate the impact of our donations and make the required improvements to ensure YOUR donation contributes fully to these children’s lives.
Why a day of school?
We believe education has the power to transform and empower any human being and the early years of a child’s life (from 0-6 years) are critical in the development of its brain. During this period of time, the human brain has the highest plasticity and thus what it learns has a deep impact in the child’s future. That is why we have chosen to donate a day of school (including 80% of the required daily nutrition, health checkups and 8 hours of learning) to Early Childhood Development Centers in vulnerable communities in Colombia, our home country where 69% of children 0-5 years old live in poverty (21% in extreme poverty).
Our purpose is to contribute to children’s education in vulnerable communities wherever they are. Nevertheless, we decided that to have a real impact, we needed to focus our efforts in one community. We chose Colombia for two main reasons. One of them is the fact that of the 4.8 million Colombian children under 5 years of age, a total of 69% live in poverty (21% in extreme poverty). The second one is the Nomadista.co’s founders are Colombian and know first hand the reality of the local children in need.
